I have the 10Qt model. Keep in mind that having two baskets isn't going to save your time if you use both baskets at the same time. I did wings using both baskets and it took 45 minutes. If I had only used one basket it would have taken half the time.

Are they the same compartment or are they separated? Would be good if separate since my gf is vegetarian and I'm not

There was a small window of opportunity during the sale switch to stack the $10 off $50 on home goods and the 30% off for kohl's card members, so it was coming out to $76.30 pre-tax and you got $15 back in kohl's cash + $5 more for opting to pick it up.

So if you had one 10t basket it would cook in half the time as using two 5 Qt baskets at the same time?

It's not a 1:1 ratio. I don't have rhe exact math but yes using both baskets does change the cook time. This is not accurate but just to say if you were to normally cook something in 1 basket for 10 minutes but wanted to use both baskets at the same time you might have to cook that same thing for 12 minutes now. Takes a little adjustment period if you constantly change what you cook in it and go back and forth between using one or both baskets.

I have no idea. Just know this model and the 10Qt spreads the power between the two baskets when both are used.

This from the booklet that comes with it.

Chicken Wings 2lbs 390F One Zone 18 -22 mins Two Zones 43 - 47 mins

So it pretty much doubles the time if you load up both baskets.

Even though it takes longer I rather cook them all at one time in the two baskets.

I don't know that this is a typical with different quantities. Generally, the more you put in, the longer the cooking takes. I experience that in a single basket already.

I just bought the 10 qt version of this (it just came in yesterday), but haven't used it. The fact that using 2 baskets almost doubles the cooking time over using 1 basket had me second-guessing getting it, but then I thought it would still be better than cooking something then cooking something else while the first item is just sitting there getting cold. So I went and bought the 10 qt again.

The other "issue" to consider is that the baskets aren't very wide. They're tall. So you'll possibly be stacking food more than spreading out as in air fryers with wider baskets. For things like wings, it still shouldn't present that huge a problem as people seem to be making wings and liking them fine in the fryer.

I'd been looking to get the Ninja for a while and have watched a ton of reviews on YouTube. Lots of good info on there.
