I bought this TV last year when target had a similar sale. It's worked great for us so far with zero complaints. I highly recommend getting this TV.

The pros:
Element TVs are assembled in the USA.
Affordable 4K price.
Great 4K screen in this bracket.
Airplay works great (dependent on your Wi-Fi).
All of the apps are quick.

The cons:
Speakers are okay not the best.
Remote control is too small for my hand.

The cons are minor because they can easily be offset by a sound bar or using the iPhone/android app.

This one or the 58 inch Element TV for $199 a few weeks ago?

I only ask bc this one is only $30 for extra 7 inches, but this one has more QC issues compared to the 58 inch one based on the ratings

I got the 58 inch one a few weeks ago, but it still sitting in the box, thinking about returning that one and picking up the 65 inch one. Penny for your thoughts!
First world problems. Yikes.

Wow!! You had a Vizio for 13 years?? Did you ever turn it on? LoL I had 3, none lasted over 12 months. Garbage.
Sam thousand dollar vizio plasma from Costco. Work well for a year, got pink and green lines and eventually didn't power. Spent another $300 to fix then died again not long after. Was too heavy to dump so for years it remained in living room useless until a house rebuild/ renovation and finally dumped it. Haven't had issues with current hisense 4K tv

I also grabbed the 58" Element on sale, but was disappointed at the depth. If you're putting it on a stand it's not a problem, but I was planning on wall mounting it by a door and needed it to be almost flush. The 58" is about 4" deep from the front to the back, vs the 55" TCL from Walmart that is only 2". I ended up grabbing the 65" TCL from Walmart today in hopes that it is slim too.

The picture is good on the Element....once you tweak it. Watching football, the default settings made the fans and the black legs of the refs blend into the background. I almost returned it. But once you adjusted the contrast and brightness, it was much better. If you don't like the initial picture quality, just play with the settings.

Appreciate your reply! I was able to snag one also! I'm leaning towards the 65 inch at the moment, $30 for the size upgrade seems like the way to go right?! That's where I'm at haha
Yes good decision to get 65 inch for a small price difference. That's what I did.

I have this exact model. The blacks suck so bad. On dark scenes I can't see a damn thing. The light scenes are pretty good though.

I got this last year for $300 and it's been great.

My 65" Oled LG CX is amazing, but it also cost me nearly $2k. At almost 10% the cost, I'd say this Element TV provides at least 60% of the performance. Black performance is fine for most people (sub-par compared to OLED but most people won't notice the difference vs a non-oled).
Roku performance is great. The remote is basic but it does the job well (no bloat). 2x USB ports and 3x HDMI are very handy.

Not sure if this is the same model as last year but I was impressed with the metal frame of the TV. Much better than budget Samsung or even Sony TVs.

At $230, this is a no brainer.
If you have ~1k for a TV, get an OLED. It'll blow you away.

Y'all think this is overkill for the bedroom? I have a way nicer 55" Samsung in the living room so probably would put this in the bedroom

Tcl and hisense are better.

It's still going strong and gets watched 4+ hours every day.
Picture still looks good except when watching golf and it looks like the greens have stretch marks.
