Seems like a pretty good deal on this set, which has excellent reviews across the Internet. I specifically wanted this set, with 14 pieces, because it has the bread knife and six steak knives.

I have a similar set to this, but slightly different as the wooden block stores the scissors on the button instead of here. They're sharp knives, an they look good. The scissors I especially like but... the steel stained almost immediately. I mean we're talking water spots after one washing. I compare them to some of the other knives I've bought over the years, and yes they were more expensive and separately purchased knives, and the Ninja looks like it's gone through the wringer in a coupe of uses where as the decade ones look better. I wash all my knives by hand, and I treated these Ninja ones no differently than the others.

They still cut fine, but they don't look very good and I wonder how long they will hold-up.
