Yes and No. Each kit is powered by its own 5V USB plug. If you have two kits, you will need to plug in two USB plugs. As long as you set the same color for both kits, they will show the same color when reactiving to sound. As a result, the colors are kind of sync'ed. But physically, there is nothing linked between the two kits. And so on for more than 2 kits.

And there is no smart features as mentioned above. This means it is not controlled by app. Any communication to the led strip or bars is done with remote control (non-smart).

It looks like just a usb power cable splitter. This thing is not smart so there is no data transfer, ie not syncing. The usb cable is just for power only.

5pc? Since when does a remote count as a piece? Lol I get a 6pc surround sound system is it actually seven because it comes with a remote? What about the power cable that detaches is that an 8th pc? I can take screws out too

same here when i looked for basic Y-splitters, even on ebay.
