For what it's worth, the Boost Charge Pro series (15W) magsafe pads are also better than Amazon prices with the BF22 code. Example: https://www.belkin.com/portable-w...4btBL.html - $29.99 without power supply, $41.99 with.

Not really, I have both versions and ordered more now that my wife will have a compatible phone and gifts for others. Not everything needs to be charged at full speed since there are tradeoffs.

I actually prefer the slower charging ones due to the heat…the 15W chargers get my iPhone very hot

If you prefer manually plugging in, likely less often than I put on the stand, that's fine for you, but wireless charging is an excellent option for many.
