inKind (Dining App credit at participating restaurants): https://pass.inkind.com/black-fri...22-special

There are two options:
$50 Credit to use without any purchase
$180 Credit to use if you spend $50 and have the Amex offer (YMMV) to stack from previous Slickdeal post (details below)
  • The $50 credit does expire in 30 days. New users only.
  • Credit required to signup but can be removed after signup. This is so that when you pay with inKind at a restaurant, the card will cover any balance over the credit you have in the app.
For just $50 credit (no purchase required)
For $180 credit after spending $50 (YMMV):Example, sign up using trial link above to get $50 credit.
Then purchase the Black friday deal of $100 (with 30% bonus) for $130 credit using Amex offers. The Amex offer will give you $50 statement credit.
Therefore, you will have gotten $180 credit to use at participating restaurants for only $50.
  • The credit can be used over multiple visits / restaurants.
  • The $50 credit from trial expires in 30 days.
  • The 30% bonus expires in 3 years.
  • The rest of the credit that you purchased never expires

1. Can the credit be used on multiple dinings or only 1 transaction?
2. Does Amex offer trigger on the pass purchase?

It can be used on multiple dinings.
  • The $50 credit from trial expires in 30 days.
  • The 30% bonus expires in 3 years.
  • The rest of the credit that you purchased never expires
. Source: FAQ section on Black Friday offer page.

It should trigger, although I have not confirmed yet. See the Amex offer SlickDeal post for more details: https://slickdeals.net/f/16183900-select-amex-cardholders-spend-50-at-inkind-com-dining-app-get-50-statement-credit

Doesn't seem like anyone is having issues with it.

If you don't want to spend any money, sign up as a new user for the free $50 credit, then use your Amex $50 statement credit offer (through the Amex link to be safe), and it'll be $100 for free, half of which expires in 30 days.

$40? That's steep. Do you have a screenshot of the breakdown?

This is the type of UberEats-type crap that keeps me away from "deals" like this. Even with crazy 60%, 70%, 80% off promotions, after fees you barely break even.

You realize that the restaurant you went to chose to add that gratuity. Take it up with the restaurant.
Most restaurants charge gratuity on parties over a certain size, such as 6 or more people, anyways.

Some more context would be helpful. Which restaurant and what location? How large was your party (even if paying separately)?

Purchasing a $100 credit for $75 [inkind.com] is less out of pocket and is s 33% bonus instead of the 30% from the $130 credit for paying $100

You'll end up with $125 credit for $25 after the $50 new user bonus and subtracting the $50 AMEX credit

Do you know if there are any requirements for the $50 temp bonus? like can it be used on any purchase total or is it $50 off something?

can it be combined with the $130 purchase

T&C says "The $25 referral credit is good toward an order of $50 or more on all food and beverages (not including service fees or gratuity) when you pay using inKind". I have already bought $50 inkind pass with my Amex card, so in order to spend the $25 referral credit first, do I need to spend at least $50 in the restaurant; or since I have already bought $50 pass, the $25 is mine, even I spend $30 for my meal, I can use this $25 referral credit?

Only one restaurant in my city. The $50 option is available again. I used a $25 referral link and now have $75 to spend. Better than spending $50 for $180 I'll probably never use.
