If you buy this your tv will be standing on its last legs.

Seriously though, I'm assuming it's adjustable so the bottom of the tv can hide the legs mostly?

The picture of TV with the stand almost looks like SpongeBob SquarePants

Should I trust me $2k tv to an $8 stand? I only need to raise my TV about 2" to clear my soundbar.

I have this stand and it helps me save space on my work desk( i use samsung 4k for monitor). Its a standing desk so i don't need to adjust monitor for height. that said it's sturdy and doesn't wobble when i type on desk.

I bought this type of stand before. I like it. Mounts on the vesa mount points. Good for if you bought a used tv that didn't come with a legs or if (like me) your TV's legs are wider than your stand. Also good for my parents' situation where their tv console has height restrictions, and 65" tv will fit but not stock height stands.

cost always doesn't correlate with quality. I use $10 phone case for my $1200 phone

say what you will about how the legs look, there's zero chance your tv will tip over forward though. I have some of these and they're solid. The feet aren't so bad, they are long but skinny so they don't take up a ton of space like a big flat base.

I have a TV stand similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

When I bought a 50" TV to use as my external monitor for working at home, I didn't like how wide the included factory "legs" required a table to be, so this allows me to use a narrower table(TV hangs over about 6" on each side). Only issue I had with the stand is it appeared slightly used, as the bag with the fasteners was opened already and I missing one of the locknuts to secure the top and bottom piece on one side. I emailed the company and they sent out a complete new set of fasteners for free. Other than that, this has been very nice for the case usage.

I have a very similar style stand from Amazon bought for an older LG 40" in our guest room. If this is your only option, well it does work but it's going to take up more space than a regular stand. The feet protrude in both directions and limit your surface area use. In my case, entirely prevents the soundbar going in front of the TV.

I bought one just 3 weeks at 18.99 before for my 65 inch Sony tv. Primary reason was either get a bigger tv cabinet or get this. It holds the TV good, but I haven't lifted it beyond 3cms from base.
