These are worth it in my opinion. Tough and near indestructible. Not designed for throwing around or dropping. But compared to other designs like Bowflex, there isn't much on these that can break from normal use.

With new years coming up, fitness equipment is probably gonna go back up. So maybe this is the best we'll see for a couple months.

While I agree it's a bit cheaper on Woot at $290-$300, with my Amazon Prime card I get 5% off so it's pretty much the same deal. Even without it's still a good deal, even if it's not the best ever.

Agreed. I snagged a set, ill probably wait around on the expansion sets but most likely like you said... year end is coming around and prices probably not going to go down much if at all.

Did a quick search and even back in 2018 a good deal on this set was $240-$260. With how much the cost of shipping has increased and just general across the board price increases I don't see them going significantly lower.

If you want to save some money I think your best bet is to find someone who is buying them now and selling them on FB or craigslist around March-April after the new year new me wears off lol.

Then in February and March check Facebook marketplace for deals on slightly used fitness equipment.

I bought these BF 2021 for $360 shipped @ Amazon. Very nice set. Only one complaint. The handle weighs 5lbs and you have 2 additional weights of 2.5lbs that fit into the handle to make 7.5lbs or 10lbs. You cannot do 12.5, 22.5, 32.5, 42.5lbs with this set. That 5lb jump is a lot for some exercises.

I haven't watched in the past year, but the ones on Woot are usually the sport or classic set which is not what these are. These are adjustable to 90lbs max with a stage 2 and stage 3 purchase.

These are well made and work very well. There are a couple things to keep in mind with these.

It does take a little extra time adjusting the weight if you are adding or subtracting the 2.5 adder weights. You have to take each handle out of the weight block and manually add or remove each weight in the handle. It doesn't take that long, it's just not as quick as some other adjustable dumbbells.

The way the weights are designed may throw some people off since you are lifting… well.. a block. It's not quite the same as lifting a dumbbell. However, I have never had any problem whatsoever with the design.

Grabbed a set. Been skipping going to the gym lately because it's cold.

Powerblocks are quite solid, but I prefer the Ironmasters if you're talking top notch adjustable homes gym pieces. I recall during COVID these being out of stock and Ironmasters having raffles just to buy at full price... times have changed.

Also needs to go to at least 75lbs to be useful for dudes that lift.
