Not sure why but they wouldn't ship this to me in CA. But they posted another option for $349.99 that would ship but no flex beater. I used some Discover rewards and with the 25% off I paid about $240 and that's including taxes. I think overall the best deal I could've found for the Artisan and I've been wanting it for a really long time.

I don't quite understand why but it's not letting me save the 25% coupon or let me sign up for an account. Tried two different laptops and various browsers. Same issue.

Finally got it to work! i had to log out and back in to get it.
There's a dance to it i guess but got it for $276.85 after tax with free shipping.
(and might get 4% back with capitol one as statement credit)
Christmas shopping for the misses to replace the one i couldnt fix!

I had this same problem, thanks for the tip. Ending up just grabbing the other one without flex beater, more choices in colors. Matte black will look good.

Better. The 5qt artisan is arguably the most coveted model you can get. Its ease of use is much better than the pro plus models because of the mixing bowl's design with a handle and flat bottom that screws into the mixer's basin. The attachments bundle is nice as well.
Sometimes Kitchenaid will sell refurb models at $260 on its website but without this extra bundle. I'd recommend this deal over the FP deal for the pro plus that's currently available

I just did my research 2 days ago for this deal. The Pro series is a lot bigger. I got the Artisan, in the silver because that was all that was available, and I love it. This is the size you'll see in most houses and on shows
