Not sure this is a deal as the G9 has been around this and this is a 1080p monitor. The CRG9 is only $100 right now and 1440p.

this one is no good at $699.99, the one from yesterday was much better at the same price

This or LG A2, usage will be about 75% work, 20% movies and only 5 % gaming so gaming really won't be a main concern, price is comparable with current discounts

I wouldn't go for this. Crg9 is $655 w EPP and g9 is $755 w EPP. 1440p, 240hz, etc. If you aren't eligible for EPP, but know someone with an edu email or works for large company try that route. If you haven't tried yet, set an account with your work email. My company didn't advertise any Samsung partnership but I still qualified for EPP pricing.

I will add, for any of these 49" monitors, you need a big desk. The stand is very wide and deep. Even if you get a desk mounted arm for it, it most likely won't sit flush against the back of the desk. A riser stand will set the monitor too high imo. Only other option to get it close to the wall is a vesa wall mount.
