Up to 13lbs of camera equipment? I can't imagine putting my Nikon Z9 ($5600) and 70-200 2.8 lens ($2800) on this $9 tripod! SMH

Tempted but from the reviews, it doesn't look like it'll take much beating before breaking. I want something a bit more reliable.
I haven't owned this one but I got a cheapy off Amazon and for what I use it for it's been great for amateur work. My only complaint is I wish the base was stronger sometimes, especially in windy areas. It can make long exposures a challenge.

This will work great for my GoPro Hero 7. Nothing special needed for that old clunker, unlike all these super-stars with their $10k cameras..

Got one, for $9 and free returns it's worth a shot.

Have a similar cheap-as-heck tripod from Best Buy, called the SunPak 8585 or something like that. It was $10, and my opinion on these cheap tripods is they are for phones only essentially. They are weak and flimsy and are perfect for throwing your phone on there to take a snap outdoors, but I definitely wouldn't trust them to support a "real" camera.

Will this work for a telescope or binoculars?

One of the (popular) failure modes for these cheapies is the crank to put the tripod up.

Adapter plates for a second camera are also impossible to find (at least for a cheapie I have).

At $9 apiece, you thus buy two tripods. At $18 ... I'm not so sure this is the Droid I'd be Looking For.
