I thought I heard about Bose giving a $20 coupon through e-mail from some other thread (don't remember which one) but that could be useful if we want to buy the QC45 from Bose (which is currently $250). Not sure if I read accurately from the thread tho - hope someone can confirm. I signed up for e-mail news/promotions from Bose this morning but didn't receive any e-mails yet

I believe on first order, new account and not on sale items. I've done it when nothing was on sale but right now everything's on sale everywhere it seems.

Ended up buying the non-SE QC45 from Dell at 249 with 12% cb from Raku10 and chase 5% for the color my gf wanted (white).

$268 (with tax) -$30 -$13=$225 final price

Found better deal at BHPhotoVideo for the white qc45. $229, with hard case and no taxes due to using their payment card.

Agreed, but most people will probably end up buying an aftermarket case because the provided one just doesn't provide any protection.

I did chat with the customer representative on bose.com, and they gave me $20 coupon. This stacks with Amex offer for $30 off of a minimum of $200 purchase on bose.com, eventually bringing the price of headphones to $200 plus tax
