I would tend to think that a red mailbox may provide a more inviting target for baseball bats and the front bumpers of pickup trucks! But, maybe the mailman needs help spotting it! 😂

Was excited about this because it was red and I was thinking I could stencil or slap a sticker of my favorite college team's logo to show a little pride.

But now I'm not sure I can make this work because my mailbox is not mounted by itself on a pole. Instead, I share a metal mount with my neighbor. I think my mailbox needs to be a little more of a flat bottom to work properly...

it's probably aluminum. you can use any outdoor paint. I just use same paint that was used for siding, to match the house. walmart used to sell $1 can paint, you can use that.

No. Buy once. Get a lockable mailbox. It's the absolute minimum security nowadays. And it works pretty well because there's so many mailboxes that don't have locks. Thieves go to them.
