The lock picking lawyer has ruined all locks for me and my sense of safety
Not sure why this was downvoted. In other words, you can learning basic lockpicking for $4. Think of it that way!

My dad couldn't understand why I refused to buy Master locks when we were adding a hasp to a shed today. I then showed him LPL's videos and he then understood that no lock is secure, but any is better than the atrocity that is Master

Totally agree. When I got into lock-picking, LPL suggested getting this exact lock, the Master Lock 3 Laminated Padlock. It only has 4 pins and has no security pins. I had to search around to find this exact lock. If you are interested in trying out lock picking, this would be a great starter lock. If you are looking to secure something, it will probably detour anyone who would try anyway.

I used these to teach students to pick locks. Probably takes an average of 10 minutes from never having picking a lock to be able to open these consistently.

Not saying it's a bad lock for most purposes as the vast majority of consumer-grade padlocks are easy to defeat. It's just important to be realistic about what you're buying.

As much as everyone enjoys the lpl fanboy comments from the peanut gallery, the probability of a random thief picking your lock is extremely low, they are just going use bolt cutters.

Just because lockpicking lawyer who probably has 20+ years experience can open it seconds doesnt mean newbie timmy with his $10 wish dot com picks will be able to do the same.

Is it really that easy to open? This makes me want to buy one and try it.

Locks such as this are just meant to keep honest people honest. If someone wants to steal your stuff they will.
