just FYI if you have an M1 or M2 Macbook, you're not going to get the 1050 speeds. It'll cap out around 800 or so.

You'll need a Thunderbolt Hard Drive Enclosure and M2 SSD if you're trying to get over 2000 read and write speeds.

TLC, not QLC, but no DRAM either. Toms' Hardware gave it a pretty good review. Just ordered one.

I went in store where I live - Virginia - and they only had up to 1tb in stock.

I had my 4 tb shipped to store and it should arrive by Friday.

Thanks this is a great price. Probably won't get many takers, as most normal people don't need NVME + 4 TB, but as someone who has 10 SSDs and needs more for work, this is just what I needed.

Silly question, but is this more for "on the go" traveling, or does it make sense to have for a home desktop?

My m.2 NVME ports are totally full, but I have a couple open SATA Ports. Is this better for home-use than something like the EVO 870 Sata drive?

Also does anyone know what "TBW" these are rated at?

Yes you are absolutely right! I have same 1TB version getting around 400ish write / read around 600ish speed over USB on M1 Mac Mini. speed checked via BlackMagic Disk test

I have the 2TB version that writes at around 900 MB/s on my 14" M1 Pro during large transfers. On my M1 Mini it's bit slower but nowhere near 400's.
