I can't believe people are giving you a hard time for buying these as donations. Next they will be telling you it only counts if you knit them yourself. Kudos for doing a nice thing for the holidays.

I've been waiting for this deal to come up. I've made it an annual tradition to purchase as many as I can and donate them to churches, shelters, etc.

Still waiting for these to move from Processing to Shipped. They told me 7-9 business days after shipping! What in the world is going on? I ordered this 11/30!

PS. Is the quality that bad? Should I just cancel?

Update: Mine just shipped yesterday. estimate arrival is 12/22.

I chatted with them and if you chose "economy" shipping that means it is 7-9 Business days before it ships and then another week to arrive. 9 business day is as much as 15 real days plus another 5 for shipping so don't look a for anything until 3+ weeks after ordering economy mode she told me. I told her my email receipt shows economy is 5-7 days for shipping and she told me that was wrong.

no wonder they have a current 1.2 out of 5 rating online.

They sent one of the two I ordered almost a month after the initial order (and two weeks after I sent an email telling them to cancel, which they responded to weeks later by saying cancelation wasn't possible), and I just got an email saying the second item was out of stock and the order canceled.

Lesson learned about New York & Company!
