How would this laptop compare to the new Lenovo Yoga 9i 14" with the i7-1260P and 16GB?

How can a processor like this even breathe in a slim compact chassis like this. I expect this to run very hot and throttle very often.

Why people ask so much about touchscreens.

Yes these are USB C powered/charged. I love this feature, 1 less power brick to haul around. I use my laptops usb-c power cord for everything (phone, tablet, etc)

This is a neat laptop with a beautiful OLED screen. Pity it's stuck with integrated Xe graphics. You won't be doing any heavy gaming on this thing. But for everything else should be great.

Thank you. This laptop is exactly what I've been looking for for the last couple months. I've had two Zenbooks and have been very happy with them. Wanted USB charging for my next one. Ordered one.

What's the best place to flip - Craigslist? Or app like OfferUp?
I'll probably flip it on eBay or Facebook. I won't make money, may not even break even and probably loose money actually. But I'm willing to give it a shot just to get at this processor. I do 3D modeling and other cool 3D printing things. And sometimes I do them from my couch.

Coz we love having touchscreens on our laptops! It makes a huge difference having the option.

Yeah I like my smaller Zenbook. I wish this one at least had the MX450 GPU that my smaller, cheaper one does. But oh well can't win them all.

This has a 1TB SSD, it doesn't matter much. Next 16GB RAM soldered.

I'd rather prefer this, https://www.costco.com/.product.1649740.html. Same specs except 512GB SSD and 12GB RAM (8GB soldered + 4GB(upgradable upto 32GB)) for $130 less price.
In that case, I'd rather to buy it from Newegg with code "ZIP11" to get the $77 discount, which puts it at $622.99

Had this computer and returned it. The best feature is the screen which was hard to give up. The issue was the noise and heat -- It's crazy hot if you are doing anything CPU intensive. I also noticed 63% thermal throttle when taxing the CPU.

I agree. I have the Costco one and upgraded the RAM to 40GB. With the fan mode set to whisper quiet it is fairly quiet and cool. I compared it with the Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X from Costco (which my friend has) with similar workloads. The Lenovo has two fans and made about the same noise (when set to quiet mode) as this ASUS. The Lenovo's battery life was lower. The Costco ASUS is able to handle a large workload fairly well due to the 40GB of RAM.

I recently bought a ZenBook from Costco:

https://www.costco.com/asus-14%22...21074.html

Is this one basically like the Intel variant of the same machine?

I like the idea of saving a few hundred bucks, but I'm not sure if the eBay one is missing something or has a drawback I'm missing.
