This is the lowest price I have seen for any model Leek with the anodized colored scales. I'm a big fan of the purple.

I carry this knife every single day in this same color. It is by far my favorite knife I have ever owned and my go to on a normal day. I have some other knives I prefer on weekends or anytime I need something that's a little bigger or thicker blade, but this is my gentleman's knife.

As for the color, it is nice. If you are not confident enough to carry a purple knife you have other issues.
My favorite pocketknife. It got me to stop buying every random knife that I see on sale here because there's no reason too. I'm perfectly happy with the Leek(s) I have. I just can't imagine another knife in it's price range that significantly improves on any of the features I love, without sacrificing another of those features: how slim it is (it's clipped on my front pocket and I still want to be able to use the pocket), I like the pocket lock and can't imagine a better implementation of it, the opening mechanism is smooth and even better than all my cheap Kershaws, and I prefer this blade shape to a lot of pocket knives.

I'm into expensive knives ($500+) amd the leek is the only knife I still love and swear by for under $100

This made me chuckle considering that the last time it was on sale I bought one for my sister that's in the army. I think it's an apt description lol.

I'm glad to hear it. It really is an easy recommend to anyone looking to spend just a little money on something decent.

How does this compare to the Ruike p801? Thanks in advance!

I rarely get on a deal just to go yeah me too, but yeah me too. By far my favorite knife except for maybe it's brother that I bought serrated. It's a tossup which I prefer. Both are amazing knives. Just don't misuse this knife and do something other than cut with it. It is a thin blade.

Great knife is this price range. Assisted opening flipper is as quick as an auto. Don't need another Leek but the purple is sweet. Just might have to go for it.

They are both fantastic knives. Same Sandvik 14C28N blade steel, which is arguably the best budget steel available. The Ruike is significantly larger (3.5" blade vs 3") and heavier (4.23oz vs 2.4oz). They both feature back flipper and thumb stud deployment, although the Leek is spring assisted so it pops open like a switchblade. Again, they are both fantastic. The Ruike is more appropriate for heavier tasks and the Leek is better for somewhat lighter work. I recommend both, but if you just want to have an unobtrusive knife that you have on you at all times I would probably recommend the Leek.

I got this last time around when it was $40 a couple months ago in the bead blasted steel finish. I do like it a lot and it's the most expensive knife I own.

That said, it sat in the bottom of my suitcase flying back from PNW during a rainstorm. I guess just enough moisture wicked up through the bottom of the suitcase when they loaded on the tarmac to cause a handful of pinpoint-sized rust spots to form. Still perfectly functional and not too noticeable, but was a little disappointing as I'd just bought it and hadn't even used it.

I guess even most 'good' knife steel isn't completely immune to corrosion, but gosh Frown

Ruike P801 is frame lock, manual flipper in silver/blue. Kershaw Leek is liner lock, assisted in "look at me" purple. Smilie

Very similar knives.
