I just picked this up tonight. For $50, it's not terrible. White/RGB or rotating between them for the lighting modes. Definitely could use a few more branches but that's what you get for $50. Needed something for my apartment and since I'm not actually home for Christmas, it'll suffice.

Probably not super slick but not a bad looking tree for the price. I like the fact that it has LED bulbs instead of incandescent. In for one.

Bought the 7.5 Maysville Pine onThanksgiving day, delivered today (Saturday). If you ever use RTINGS for TVs, this tree would be the equivalent of Best Value for Price. For $79, this is a nice tree. I live in NC, Frasier Fur Christmas tree capital, and I think this tree is a nice replacement. Yes, there are gaps when you first set it up, and it will take an hour+ to "fill it out" but after spending that hour+ it turned out pretty good. The lights are nice, you get a remote or can set with a nob at the base. White, RBG, combo of those two, and twinkle option for those 3 as well. It has the right amount of lights for the size of the tree.

We have had a Frasier Fur from Ashe County for decades, but the prices this year are through the roof. We usually pay $80 for our tree, so once I use it next year, it will pay for itself. I'm sure there are better trees, but for well under $100, this is a very nice tree. I'll answer any questions.
Thanks for the review.

Thanks, if it was only white I'd bite on this deal. Colored lights cheap it up IMO
Just set it to white only? You're not forced to use colored lights.

If you can, I'd encourage people to go look in person. I went out with every intention of getting the 7.5 tree and found it underwhelming in person. I jumped up a few levels to something else but felt like it would be worth it for how long I tend to keep these trees.
Yea it's not as full as the $200+ ones but I couldn't reconcile spending more than 2x for it to look a bit more full. And, once you have it home and fill it up with sashes and ornaments, you won't even think it's sparse when it's not surrounded by its more expensive, fuller cousins. My living room won't be in Home and Gardens anytime soon so this tree was great for me.

He is correct. Mine looks pretty good without any ornaments, and any sparse spots or gaps can be filled with ornaments.

I purchased the $79 tree thanksgiving morning and received last night. The lights are wrapped so poorly on my tree it was hard to even spread out the branches. It's almost like it was wrapped once the tree was folded up. They are not even at all and the wires are highly visible from branch to branch. Also the lights are not attached to the tree, except at the base with one zip tie. Im very disappointed in the poor quality. Has anyone else experienced issues? Wondering if this is a fluke. My lights were somewhat wrapped around the tree but they didn't prevent me from spreading out the limbs, and my lights are also fairly well distributed throughout the tree and are properly attached.

7.5 ft Ordered. Wondered how hard it would be to get but it said over 4,000 available to ship.

For the price, it's going to be hard to beat this year for a cheap tree as stated. The needles up close are hard to gauge and the reviews mention gaps and lack of fullness. But, again for the price with free shipping can't pass up.
Saw both sizes in store today and they look like they're under $100. Plasticky looking needles and very fake looking. Was going to get for an open, covered porch but decided against putting a tree on the porch. Not a bad option for a covered porch once decorated.

We set up our 7.5ft today. Small box got me worried. It's not a big full tree but we liked the lights, coming from a 10 year old tree that had incandescent lights out.

It took about 30 mins with two of us to fully fluff it out and now with ornaments and such on it looks pretty good. It's about 7" narrower base than our old one and less lights but a good deal these days for the price. It also doesn't shed much at all during setup.

Cons: not real wide, close up it's not realistic at all, it has a slight lean to it, and it is really only 7.5ft if you stick the top branch straight up.

Pros: price and lights

Really appreciate the review! Just got mine in the mail. Hopeful that along w/ fluffing & ornaments, the tree will feel much fuller. Also, we are putting up against the wall, so we'll compensate by extending branches to the side that's actually being seen. Any other tips to make the tree feel more full? For me, it was either this or one w/ 4K tips.

There are lots of branches that get compacted in the shipping process. I found 2-3 more this morning that I had not fluffed out, so do your due diligence there.

Also, the two areas where A attaches to B and B attaches to C create the most gaps, so make sure your branches are fanned out there.

Just got my tree in, it definitely is not as full as the picture online, but I bought it assuming as much. I put a few minutes into spreading the branches out, and I do need to put in some more time, which is obvious by the pictures, but I would say, for the price, I am happy.

Agree, not as full as the photo online. But the photo looks like a perfect triangle and the real tree's shape is more natural IMO.

Pros:. Price, good amount of lights for the size tree and many different light options, good amount of tips (almost 1300) to help make it fuller.

Cons:. it does look a little fake close up (but remember, it is $79), no real tree pine scent

From this comment alone, canceled & am planning on the 4K tip tree. Know it's more expensive, but want to keep for long-term.
Which one did you go with? Not sure which model is the 4k tip. Me and my g/f are trying to pick one out. Obviously price is a factor but I also want to be happy with it an have it last. Was gonna go with the 7.5 others mentioned but seems most agree it has a very fake look to it and isn't that full or as nice as the pictures. Would be nice to find one maybe $150 or under after sale.

I don't think it has a "very fake look" - up close, the needles don't look as real as they do on a Balsam Hill tree, but those trees are $400-600 dollars. I wish I could upload a picture of my tree, it looks pretty good.
