I just picked this up tonight. For $50, it's not terrible. White/RGB or rotating between them for the lighting modes. Definitely could use a few more branches but that's what you get for $50. Needed something for my apartment and since I'm not actually home for Christmas, it'll suffice.

Probably not super slick but not a bad looking tree for the price. I like the fact that it has LED bulbs instead of incandescent. In for one.

The 7.5 was delivered yesterday and I put it up today and it looks great IMO. Easy to set up. Spread out all the branches and for $79 worth it in my opinion. I like the remote and the white twinkle mode is perfect with the Christmas music. Good deal.

Save your money. After seeing this post I went to my local HD and picked one up. Didn't even fully assemble it and can tell it's going back. The way they have the lights routed/wrapped is a complete joke. When you fold down each branch there is a wire strung across to the next branch all the way around. The issue is the wire is near the outside of the tree so it will be very visible. Not only that but most branch sections can't even fully fold down because the wire coming from the one next to it is so tight.. so then you try to untangle it to give it some slack but the issue with this is you don't know when to stop untangling so you end up with sections of the wire with lights on it that aren't wrapped around branches and have to try and figure out where they were. While I've never owned my own fake tree I've helped my mom and others put there's up tons of times and have never seen one with the wires so close to the perimeter of the tree. Not sure which one I will get but this one is going back for sure.

I purchased the $79 tree thanksgiving morning and received last night. The lights are wrapped so poorly on my tree it was hard to even spread out the branches. It's almost like it was wrapped once the tree was folded up. They are not even at all and the wires are highly visible from branch to branch. Also the lights are not attached to the tree, except at the base with one zip tie. Im very disappointed in the poor quality. Has anyone else experienced issues? Wondering if this is a fluke. This is exactly what I was trying to explain in my last comment. Complete junk. I've never seen one where the lights can just unwrap and aren't attached to the tree.

The 7.5 is pretty good when you spend the time to spread the tips out

Does yours twinkle in all 3 sections? Mine only does the middle either white or color. Fade works in all 3 sections though.

I'll let you know in a little haha. My g/f is out there fluffing out everything and messing with it. Assuming all the lights function like they are supposed to I still have no plans on keeping it.

Yep 1000% agree with this. Thanks for validating my comment with your feedback, was beginning to think I got a bum tree with all these other positive reviews but it appears either there's a quality issue, or I had way too high of expectations for a cheap prelit tree.

I got mine and like it. I spent 30-45 min getting my arms torn up and fluffing it up. It looked like trash straight out of the box. You cant see the wires ones its set up. The wire tangling was annoying though

These things are made in Cambodia, so of course there are going to be quality issues. I personally think there is alot of value in this tree for $79, if you get a good one.

Got mine up today. It is sparse but you really need to spread the branches out. I think it will be fine once ornaments are up. The lights are beautiful and the functions ( everything works) are nice. It wasn't my first choice $379 but for $79 this will be beautiful.

I don't think anyone would argue it's not a cheap tree. $79 for a 7.5 tree isn't going to happen these days without it being cheap. It's definitely not going to compete with anything over $125. That said, once the branches are fluffed out and ornaments etc are on, it looks decent from 5ft away which would satisfy most people in the market for a cheap tree. Ours had similar wiring going across instead of down the branches and back out, but again it's a cheap tree.

That's the point I was trying to make. Sure for $80 you get a usable tree.. but I def wouldn't consider it a good deal at all. This tree was never a $150 tree. It's a model made to be put on "sale" and make people think it's such a good deal. That's all
