The 7.5' version is $79 for Black Friday. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-.../319322451

I just picked this up tonight. For $50, it's not terrible. White/RGB or rotating between them for the lighting modes. Definitely could use a few more branches but that's what you get for $50. Needed something for my apartment and since I'm not actually home for Christmas, it'll suffice.

Probably not super slick but not a bad looking tree for the price. I like the fact that it has LED bulbs instead of incandescent. In for one.

They had this set up in the store and it looked so sad so I went for the 7.5ft, which has a significantly higher tip count.

I also discovered this $80 online-only model

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-.../320078212

The latter has an even higher tip count and a different bulb shape. Will set them both up and compare the $80 7.5ft offerings. The $400 Costco in-store 7.5ft looks great, btw.
Would be really interested to know which is better. On paper the one you found seems to be the better value.

Got the 6.5 ft one and I like it once fluffed out. I've had more expensive ones that were worse. Only downside is that there isn't a traditional plug for adding a lit wired tree topper (star or angel) so you have to get a separate extension cord just for that, which is annoying.

Multi colored led's are a cool feature as well. It's a keeper for at least a few seasons.

I went up to the local HD this morning; website still showed 3 in stock. Two employees helped me look around but they were gone. The only one remaining was the floor model. Might be worth calling ahead before you go up there.

Someone did point this out, And that is a great value tree. I would have bought it over the 7.5 from this thread. I have the 7.5 in this thread set up with ornaments and it looks good.

i read somewhere that you need 100lights per foot to look good. is that accurate? I ever had a faux tree and looking to get one.

How is it compared to this tree from Amazon in terms of density of branch tips?

Got the 7.5" from the local HD today. Looks really good for the price. But got one light bulb with a small flicker. Keeping it. Any ideas how to fix it ?

If you can't fix it, you can always just cover that 1 light. That's less noticable than it flickering.

I guess it does not matter now since the REDVALE model is OOS, but on the chance it does restock, I finally had time to put up yesterday. I think it is a good tree for the money. The lighting could be more evenly distributed, but that might be something just need to address on my own. The remote functions are very cool and there is no discernible lag. Hopefully the $10 collar I ordered from Target will improve the overall look.
