Well those are five minutesfr om Dec 2018 that I'll never get back.
Positives —
- Built at a larger scale than the previous two.
- Lots of new mechanics
- gameplay is a lot of fun
- tracking down missed verses is enjoyable. No need to replay the whole level if you miss a verse. You can choose to replay a level at various instances in between.
Negatives —
- frame rate is not consistent. You can tell that they were too ambitious and the switch hardware struggles to keep up
- levels look bland and visually they have quite a bit of repetition. Even with with the low resolution assets they could have gone with a more artistic look.
- The story is bad, especially the end. The ending will leave a bad taste in your mouth. You just need to remind yourself that you are playing the game for gameplay, the spectacle and fun factor. Not for the story.
