That has two 1Gbps ports with up to 2Gbps with link aggregation. The equivalent Netgear modem with a 2.5Gbps port would be the CM2000.

Yes. It is legit. I bought this one from them about two month ago. But be aware, this is kind of refurbished one though looks brand new

I own this. Zero problems. It "just works".

Unlike the Comcast provided equipment which never "just works". Probably because when your ISP provides the equipment, it's to achieve it's goals. Which will often conflict with you the customers goals.

Highly recommend the Netgear cm1100 or cm1200.

Internet modem issues have taken years of my life…have had zero issues after registering the 2 Netgear models in 3 households (2 Xfinity,1 optimum)

As stupid as this sounds, check with your ISP before getting this. I have Optimum, and these are known for having issues activating on Optimum's network. You'll get access to their captive portal (barely), and the techs on the other side will see your modem for a moment, but then it quickly drops off. In the odd case that it stays up long enough for them to push the config to it, it rejects it. I was on the phone for hours with multiple different people from their helpdesk. It never worked and I ended up sending it back.

If you have Optimum, do yourself a favor and just get a Motorola or a Netgear. They're known for working right out of the box. I got a Motorola S33 and that worked flawlessly. I was quickly able to self-provision through Optimum's captive portal no problem.

This modem has worked fine for me on Charter/Spectrum for over a year. My router WAN is only 1gb however so the indicator led is green, not blue.
