Hope you aren't hoping that this will be interchangeable in a ddr4 machine. Even if the CPU is compatible, the ram slots are slightly different.

If you are planning for a future device, do your thing!

Great price just too bad most newer laptops have soldered low voltage ram and not upgradable

Why isn't DDR4 getting cheaper? 32GB Crucial DDR4 is on "sale" for $79. Barely $12 off.
