Thanks I was going to buy this to put under a TV weighing 66 lbs
I have an Ikea table with adjustable legs but I needed a little extra length -- I used four of these (threaded coupling nut), got some bolts (matching thread), sheered of the heads, cleaned them up, and used them to extend the legs just an inch or two. You could dress it up somehow, too -- IDK, PVC or something?
If it's like the one I have you can buy two and screw the legs from one onto the other?
Why do I prop my monitors? Both my old LG and my Alienware's stands "stick out" enough where it interferes with my mouse movements - especially in esports games where I need a large surface area for mouse sweeps. Also, since this stand is low rising, it doesn't elevate my monitor too much while maintaining a good proportion on my desk (and not look out of place).
Edit: I do place my riser a bit off-centered so that the front right leg doesn't sit on my mousepad surface area. And my monitor itself is placed on the left side of the stand. This allows the monitor to still be centered to my head and body. It admittedly drove my OCD a little crazy at first but I've gotten used to it since it allows me to play esports competitively.
