Really tempted, but really want to wait till zen4 APUs since the they should bring a lot of improvement to integrated graphics. 6850u/680m is already pretty decent to run many of the games at FHD, but zen4 APUs should take it to another level.

I have had an elitebook G3 for years and it's one of the best laptops I've ever owned. Durable, light, solid battery life (even after years of use), nice usability features. I'm not looking to spend this much, but if I did I bet I could enjoy it for quite a long time as well.

Do the latest Elitebooks all come with non-touch displays? I'm looking at HP's website and can't even find a way to configure one with a touch display. It's odd, as a family member has an employer provided Elitebook, which is 6-something series, and it has a touch display.

I think I've figured it out. It looks like only the 645's can be equipped with a touchscreen. I don't know the difference between the 845 and the 645's though.

Yeah it was 899, then dropped to 799. I ended up ordering both and returning the more expensive one so I could get the better deal since they refused to price match and are only letting me avoid the 15% restocking fee because I was keeping at least 1 of the machines. Super slick deal.
