I purchased all Samsung appliances for 2 homes that I own, fridge, stoves, micro, DW, washer and dryer, spent over 12k.
They have ALL had problems, ALL are peeling in less than a year, ice makers don't work, fridges don't hold temp, dishwashers leak and have electrical issues,,,ALL of which are well documented online. Google my brother.

Are appliances getting as bad as TVs with regards to specifications (e.g. 60" class TV is more like 58"-59")? This fridge touts 28 Cu Ft then in the specs lists freezer cap at 8.3 and a fridge cap at 15.6 with an overall capacity of 20-24.9 Cu Ft. I first thought there may be a flex drawer calc in there but am finding it difficult to correlate.

It seems to be missing the capacity of the flex drawer. Other refrigerator specs list it separately

Looking at the PDF, the FlexZone is 3.8 cu ft.

This seems like a steal, surprised its not gotten more attention. Family hub, internal cameras on top of the other deal that is a hot item for only $29 more....

This is a fire deal. If you need a fridge with these features and size, it can't be beat for the price. I paid nearly as much for the same fridge without the screen last year. The screen is a gimmick but cool to have, and at this price, no brainer

ugh, dont need the water dispenser thing. Any drawbacks if i just leave that unused for the life of fridge? never had one of those for any of the fridges ive ever owned, let alone had a water connection behind the fridge area

Only drawback is your guests trying to get some water out of it and not getting any.

I almost pulled the trigger but then I realized this model is 3-4 years old. Is the Smart hub still upgradeable?

Bought this last year in Sept for $3k. Works great. Samsung fridges have been known to have crappy ice makers that stop working but mine's still going strong.

We use the family hub to keep track of schedules and calendars and various other things. We have it setup so we can add things to walmart grocery orders right from the screen. Also hooked up to my security cameras so I can see all around my house easily.

The app is kind of poo poo, though.

I recommend this fridge at this price point.
