Just a warning that from my experience this stuff doesn't pull off the roll very well after a few years, in case you're buying this thinking you can be using it 5 or 10 years from now--it will be a huge pain and will tear every few inches due to the adhesive hardening. I've stocked up on blue tape half a decade ago and it's never done this due to the different adhesive it uses.

I'm not an expert but when reading forums, professional painters prefer this over the blue tape because it's less expensive, and they say it works fine. Blue tape usually has an extended release time so you can keep it on for many days and still pull it off cleanly, but if you will be removing the tape in a day or two, this is more economical.

This tape is slightly sticky based on my usage. I left it on my newly installed drywall for a few days too many and when peeling it off, it took off the top layer of drywall paper and left the brown backing paper. Had to use some mud to level it out again.

Don't you dare telling him that. He will not resist for lifetime supply.

If you have dunn edwards paint, the orange tape is better than blue tape. I think I bought a pack of 4 wider tape for $10. Their price is ymmv

Yes, and keep it stored in a room temperature Place away from the sun. I left some in the car and those rolls are basically trash

Yep we keep them in a dry shop cabinet for work and they definitely start to degrade within a year or two in the best conditions, unusable for much after a few years.
