Spyder has high quality stuff that they sell on their site and special retailers. Then lower end stuff they sell at discount stores like Costco. This is probably the lower end stuff.

Spyder's sizing is weird. Their Medium fleece and thin jacket fit me fine, but Medium outer jacket are huge on me.

Good price, looks pretty thin so I am not sure how warm this jacket is going to be.

The mens parka is $55 here on their site. Is their parka any good? What about the tempo jacket. Looks really nice but is it warm?

I've seen that on a few brands. It's so strange. In Trespass which is a big brand in Europe, I am a medium in the shirts but even their XS jacket is big on me.

I agree. List price is stupid on most. There are companies like Patagonia where I see why their prices are so high. They're eco-friendly and create amazingly high quality products that are meant to be repaired instead of thrown away. But I still won't pay full price for Patagonia either.

I have two Spyder jackets. One I have had for over 10 years and another pushing 4 years. Some of the best jackets I have owned. Will always buy these. Just bought my wife one off a slickdeal someone posted last week. Directly from Spyder.
