IIRC, the culprit is the auto-starting of the HP Omen app. You have to disable that.
Ah thank you - didn't even know about the Omen app! Let me try signing into the HP account and having the Native setting assigned to my Default profile and see if that keeps it permanent.

Anyone know how to keep these HP monitors at the mode you previously set it in? Always ends up back in "Gaming" but I want it to remain in "Native" mode.
I don't have this yet, but I heard it silently installs an HP OMEN app through the Windows Store which resets your settings unless you set them via the app. Maybe try uninstalling if you see it?

Good monitors. I'm using two now. Only downside is the crapshoot in getting the LG panel. Seems like the majority were getting LG the last time though.

In for one, thanks OP. How do you know if you got the LG panel?

Edit: Nevermind, found it in another reply: Look at the Revision number on the back and if it starts with L its LG panel. B means BOE panel.

Just bought one and the Amazon Prime card gives me 10% cash back instead of the usual 5%.
Did it say this when you were checking out? Mine says 3%? Thanks

At this price point, it's a great budget 1440p monitor.

Thanks OP, got one with Amex rewards promo that I had with 40% off (I think max upto $40 off). I almost forgot that I had this offer. So, from experts, if it's not LG panel then the other one is crappy panel?

Grabbed a pair of these but also have a pair of Omen 27i that were $250 each. Any reason to keep one set over the other besides price difference?

Cool but in the picture they show a pc running two of these monitors. That's photoshopped you can't use two you can use either one or three monitors for games.
