First, don't expect miracles from this. The Coway is great at removing smoke from the air for those times you want to cook bacon on the stovetop, or for when you leave something in the oven for too long. However, do not expect it to remove most odors or smells. I knew that when I bought them, but many people expect this to remove their fart odor from the air, and the Coway will absolutely NOT do that. At best this will remove misty or moldy smells, but nothing more. Also, contrary to what they advertise, I have found the Coway does very, very little to remove dust and dander from the air. I run my 2nd Coway purifier in my 12x14 bedroom and I still have to manually dust my desk every few weeks. I run it 24hrs x 7 on auto mode. It's possible I would get better results if I ran the fan in manual mode at level 2-3.

I clean the outer filter off every day or two with a microfiber cloth and there's always a bunch of dust. So even outside of particulates it's helping with dust control. Does anyone known of other effective ways to cut dust in a small space? (some of it comes in through our HVAC)
