That is good to know, and I gave you a thumbs up. I have bought from Proaudiostar before and I was pleased with everything, shipping speed and packaging. But I would have to go with Amazon on this deal because of the 5% back I would get with my Amazon card. I just don't know if I should since I have the little Bugera amp on the way already.

I've been waiting to buy one of these for my kid (actually the 40W version). The whole line is on sale at Amazon. The 40W is typically $250, which is what it still is at Musicians Friend, for instance. I'm not sure if the prices will drop further tomorrow or not, so might just snag this today.

Get the momoprice tube amp, many say that it's tone is superior.

Yeah, amps should be demoed before buying. Personally, I've never played a digital modeling amp that I like the sound of. I played a ton of them about 4yrs ago and always found that while the flexibility is cool, but the tone/dynamics are never quite there.

I almost got a cheap tube amp, which is what I would generally recommend, before trying a used analog (old school circuitry) modeling amp that I fell in love with.

100 watts is too much unless you are a gigging musician that plays for crowds over 1000 people. In that case, you certainly aren't using a 100 watt solid state amp. So I don't know who this is good for. For reference, I play for rooms with 400 and use a 15 watt amp.

These are decent but I was blown away by the 90s solid state Princetons. I couldn't believe there wasn't a tube in it!

Solid state watts don't translate the same way tube watts do. They are much quieter. Also, solid state amps can be turned down without sacrificing the sound quality. I think this would be reasonable for practice and some gigging if you would like to do so.

I bought this because it has effects but doesn't use an app or computer. Plus I wanted a 2x12. Is it more amp than I'll ever need? Yes! Do I regret buying it? No! (I just wish it was this price when I did).

My 10G has BOOM when being powered on, and Fender said that's normal. Does this one have the same issue?

Depends on the use and the tone you want, but I am a massive fan of the mustangs. Great amps for learning/home use/unpaid gigs. Easy to use and some of the coolest clean/twang tones you can get in the range.

With anything instruments though—the only opinion that matters is your own. It's your ears and your time.
