This is by far the brightest UST with a killer price so far. Also by a big company.
The caveat for this model compared to AWOL3500 only is lack of 3D.
However, I would actually go for Formovie theater for $3000 instead due to its contrast. But if UST is in the living room with a lot of light, this will be best.
UST competition is getting hot. Philips is launching U5 UST with similar specs to VAVA with half the price.
In the next 1-2 years, UST will be major player in the home theater market.
I had the LS11000, which had a great image but thinking a short throw would be much better for apartment living.
