replacement 9Ah 12v batteries are about $20 each on ebay and it takes 2. though before you replace the batteries, re-seat the battery pack a couple of times as these units can sometimes indicate a dead battery pack when it just needs to be re-seated.

Not really a comparison as I'm not familiar with the details, just pointing out another sale I saw today.
Sorry for derailing an APC-thread, but just endorsing this Costco version as a better buy than this deal. It has the same pure sinewave specs as this APC unit and also allows monitoring via USB if needed that you can pair with CyberPower Power Panel or something like a NUT server for remote monitoring. I don't see any USB port to connect to a device (or some expansion port) on this APC one which is a pretty disappointing for power users at this $200 price.

Some reviewers mention that 2021 units were a fire hazard due to underrated mosfets:

Anyone have experience with this model?

But I was going to purchase the Costco Cyberpower Sinewave unit until I learned about the issue where if there's a battery fault, the entire unit becomes inoperable. That swayed me away from getting them. I then looked into it further after finding this deal and found this article:

I'm not sure which ones better, but as of the moment I'm buying two of these units.

Thanks for that. I won't buy a ups from Amazon again. They sent me a defective unit and sent me back to the mfg day 1. Bought the Costco unit instead
