Just don't. Buy a USB 3.5" floppy disk drive, it'll be faster and more reliable.

don't buy this. The usb-c head is too short. Without taking down the cover, you cannot plug it into your phone or iPad. Maybe good if you only use for laptop

works perfectly on all of my phones and laptops (all non-apple)...but it is very slow...and slider has loosen after using for almost an year... the other design (flip) is better although ports are always open, but no trouble when trying to plug into a port.

Can you still format them to 2.88?

Tape drive would be more reliable.

I've had the 64GB of this for a little over a year now. Used 2-3 times a week and it still works great. Not the fastest, but a reliable little drive. in for another.

Thanks for the heads-up. I find that extremely annoying I'll look for something else.

This is only an issue if you have a thick case on your device. Personally, I prefer my phones unprotected, and none of my tablet cases cover the edge blocking the ports anyway. You can see in my picture exactly how much depth you have to work with though.

I'm waiting for someone to make a true low profile usb-c flash drive that's either a nubby one like the Samsung Fit drives or if they need more room, are more T-shaped with the connector in the middle of the T, so they stay flush with a phone or tablet or...steam deck.

The long ones like this with the connector on one end are just asking to get snapped off at that tiny little usb-c connection.

Closest that I've seen from someone I'd bother buying from (no "OKKazooie" brands) is the little one with a usb-c connector on one side and a usb-a on the other. Take that usb-a off, and I bet you'd sell a million or two.
