This rotary hammer is perfect for getting into hard to reach places. It has no trouble drilling 5/8" holes in 60 year old concrete.

Yeah, 2.0ah gonna give you about two minutes run time, I have the other rotary impact 18v I use 5.0ah and get 10 - 15 minutes maybe. Just noticed this is 12v

So tempted. 90% of the time I bring out my 18v bosch sds its way overkill and I want to tell myself to take a chill pill. Arg. must...resist... but it's makita...must...resist

Yeah 12v rotary hammer drill seems worthless, I'd rather have a nice corded one.

Mine came.. but DOA will not work at all. tried multiple batteries also.. Amazon wants to refund and not replace it either bummer
Its $308 now.. maybe I will go thru makita repair directly. I want the item.

Talked to makita support. I have to take it to a local service center for warranty repair.
