The ones made in Japan are about $100 more.

I have their unit with non-stick coating for 10+ years now and no peeling. I use it at least twice a day. (different mode though)

I hope you get another 10 years out of it. The pump on ours failed (10+ years use also) and I bought the stainless steel inner tub version.

my pump is working but the latch that holds the lid broke... still works fine, just have to be careful to close/open

Same with me the lid latch broken after many years of use. I donated to goodwill and get the replacement. Btw, the price went up to $153. You still can get like new condition for around $100 bucks.
