Take your pick.
FWIW, this is a solid (state) amp. For an (expensive-r and bigger) upgrade in the same vein, consider a Katana Artist series or even a Fender Tone Master (even more expensive-r).
Fair warning: Katana 50 watt amps do not support GA-FC or GA-FC EX foot controllers.

These are ALL GREAT combo amp values. All do clean to metal tones. All take pedals well. K50 just in front. All go form the most quiet to full drummer volume; which are not just wasteful practice-only amps. You likely already have some type of practice amplification and speaker/headphones. And you can practice unplugged.
A) Used ($125?) Katana 50 mkII 1x12 has built in effects; but is missing an effects loop connections for a Looper, etc... and has a bit lesser quality, non-standard ohm, smaller mag 12" speaker. It does not sound as full comparatively.
BTW: You can add an effects loop if you already have a Katana 50; but it is not a full function connection and technical. See online search. Best to get an effects loop as stock.
B) Used ($290?) Katana 100 MkII 1x12 fixes the issues above very well; but is now too heavy for mobility and expensive comparatively.
C) New ($198 Jan 23' sale-%off?) Monoprice 15W (Like 50W+) 1x12 tube amp, is only 25lbs portable like the Katana 50, has the effects loop ability and sets clean to metal with just 7 easy knobs. Similar to the Katana 100 speaker; the MP has the highly underrated(bargain), world-class Celestion 12" G12-P(70/80), classic mid-range bumped guitar speaker with huge magnet. Which is the very most important component for sound. It also has real spring reverb. The pre and power amp tube circuits are world class and straightforward.
Unlike the difficult to repair digital Katana's; that are subject to being discontinued, finding no parts (paper weight. It Happens), and no software upgrades, or just left behind depreciation, for new model renditions, the brand new MP tube amp can be fixed easily; if ever needed. Katana digital is not worse; I'm just telling you what they are and why I said buy used, for less. They all sound great for tones.
But the MP (w/Reverb, EQ's and many tones) does not have more numerous muti-effects. nor cabinet sims, accept for it's EQ. I recommend the small <$40 Cube Baby multi effects pedal to bring it similarly to the Katana's nice built-in, numerous effects. 1 multi pedal because single guitar pedals add up to very expensive and tangly.
The Cube Baby adds loadable, multiple amp sims tones, EQ, Flange, Chorus, tape delay, Feedback level, deep reverb, and multi loadable cabinet IR sims. It also takes the place of noise cut box, and a direct-in DI analog to digital conversion, to USB for clean DAW computer music recording. Has wireless Blue tooth play along with your phones songs, 3 foot switch presets, long life (weeks) USB rechargeable power inside, headphone/out jack, guitar plug in/out and cables for USB and smart phones connector. In manual mode you have full row of knobs to tweak any amp/cab tone and its gain, with combined multi effects; just like the easy tube amp knobs. You never need the computer, as it has 9 cabs and 9 amps already; but you can download new ones and control it by computer.
Then optionally (don't let it slow down your practicing) there's the computer (or phone) for all these things. Get linuxmint.com and get the Mate version installed (Not deleting your Windows. Use a USB stick for live running Mint test, and then if you do the 20m install you can click for all manner of free music and other apps. Search on Guitarix and Rakarrak apps. Also there's loopers, syths, drums, Daw's etc.... Free STABLE and state of the art; without any other sims, parts or patches to buy and Mint can automatically (Safely) upgrade to every new feature and new apps, ongoing, dynamically. A long proved, working, quality and robust selection. Directions at linuxmint.com See MATE. A separate SSD drive is optimal for Mint. Use you best computer. Keep Windows. Pick at start up. You will see apps of the types you need; but with different names. They work and upgrade better. Safety is the absolute best; when you are also computer safe, in practice.
Use your newest and your fastest computer for a low latency. If you're not using USB-in then use at least some kind of mic/guitar preamp (old Karaoke box?/Cube Baby) into your sound cards line-in, not your clicking sound cards mic-in jack.
