I did the conversion way back when Game Pass was new. Last month I allowed my subscription to lapse and the next day I added 3 years of Gold and upgraded to Game Pass for $1, so as of last month you could do it more than once if you allow your subscription to lapse.

I went with the 12 months for a few dollars more. I ordered two so I got a total of 8 codes. Figured it would be safer doing that than multiple orders of two 3months at a time.

I've never owned an Xbox, but I just ordered a Series S.

I might as well buy 36 months of gamepass up front for the best deal, right?

I find these deals so confusing tho. Stackable, nonstackable, limit of 2, VPNs (Brazil??). why does this deal here say 3-month? The link is selling 6, 12, etc too...do those not work?

I wish someone would post a 36-month gamepass deal for us xbox newbies and hand-hold us step by step on the best deal.

False, I just redid mine for 3 years. Last time I bought 3x 1 year codes and the ultimate, and this time I did 9x 3 month codes +1 month free for each one with auto renew, and did the ultimate update.

Took me half an hour but only cost me around $80.
