I bought this last time it went on sale near this price from this seller. It was clearly at least an open box item, had some wear on it. Several other reviews say the same thing. Not a bad price for what it is, just know what you may be getting.

If they send you something open customer service might offer a partial refund. That's not cool if it's listed as new and comes opened.

bought from seller over halloween. it was def a used item. smudges and what not. it worked despite that.

I ordered a brand new starter set sold by Amazon and the light bulbs weren't even hue brand. I literally received a return where they basically kept the seal sticky enough to still look new

Bought these last time they were on sale from this seller but I never felt they were in a used condition. I guess im one of the few lucky ones. Having said that, I have been enjoying them a ton. I just need a third to complete the set so this is tempting.

I purchased two of these last time from the same seller and both of mine were new and factory sealed.

99.9% sure that's the only way. I don't believe there is any way to make a Hue brand do the syncing without the box

I'm wrong you can apparently wire it to a pc and download a hue app

Can anyone tell me what this series of overpriced LED lights have compared to the mountain of more inexpensive light systems that also work seamlessly with any home automation system? Genuinely curious. These are like the Bose of lights.
