I hate you, there is always one person who mentions their lifetime sub in each of these threads. J/k I don't, I'm just jealous. And kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on lifetime back then instead of the 3 yr deal
Have had them for about 6 years now. I don't think we can call them a fly by night company anymore that's looking for a cash grab only to fold tomorrow.
Appears to be expired.

Yes. Login then go to the pricing page and enter the code you get in the "promotion code".
Wait, so even though the promotion says only new customers you're telling me you can still stack it on existing accounts?

Does it matter what existing plan you have?

I used a free promo code a long time ago for 50gb free a month at windscribe for life. Pretty cool for when you need a VPN on a temporary basis. They might still have codes that good floating around.

Sitting on my lifetime subscription from like 8 years ago
I'm paid up till 2025 and this will be the third time I've added a few more years, but FFS wish they'd offer this again even at a hefty fee. I never saw the lifetime offer, wasn't using VPNs back then, but you asshats can't let us forget we missed out 😭

To anyone on the fence, they have a free plan that is more than enough for casual users. The only problem I've ever had was them being too secure, honestly. I reinstalled windows on over a dozen PCs one day and my account was suspended for too many new logins. All successful logins, not an issue with too many failed attempts, but still was suspicious enough to throw a red flag.

For those with lifetime subscription, does it show an expiration date?

Yes, I believe it has to be "renewed" every 10 years.
I think renewal just requires a message to customer support, though my 10 year isn't due for another 6 years.
