We used to buy these when they were on sale, but we're done with Rayovac after having too many devices ruined by their constantly leaking batteries..... We didn't believe the reviews, but we do now.

Same here too. They are made in USA but many of them leak (at least 10%) and not acceptable.

Doing a little research this price does seem a little high though. Think I'll wait.

On sale at HD last December for ~$22 for a box of 60x. Unit price here is less than that. Have not had any one of those 120x leak, not sure what y'all doing with your batteries to have them leak. In for 2 and repped

TERRIBLE. THEY ARE worse than any batteries I have ever used and I've used hundreds of batteries.
At one time Amazon had more than 5000 1 star reviews and only about 50 5 star reviews for the Kirkland signature brand batteries being sold there by various retailers. They are that bad. I had lost countless electronics, some very expensive, after finding out they leaked and destroyed the device.

With that said, I can't speak to the new Kirkland signature batteries that are white in color. I don't know if they changed brands but let me warn you about the old beige/brown packaging: avoid those batteries like the plague. You will regret it dearly

Costco's household batteries are made by Duracell. Their car batteries are made by Clarios. I almost exclusive use Costco batteries and I've never had a problem with either. YMMV

I've had good luck with these in my smoke detectors when replaced annually.

I bought the Rayovac from lowes and I think after 2 years one of my packs stored in a dark drawer leaked and corroded the entire pack. I've never had this experience with even the cheapest batteries so I suggest if you buy in bulk to look elsewhere.

Overall I've had pretty good luck with Rayovacs. I've had occassional leakage IF I leave the batteries in for a long time after they've discharged completely. I now coat the contacts with a bit of vaseline or grease so they don't corrode if the batteries leak.

Costco and Duracell have leaked the most for me and I won't by them anymore.

Energizer has given me the least problems. They are on sale at Home Depot 30 AAA or 36 AA for about $15.

HD seems to have $10 off $50 in energizer batteries - that is a lot of batteries. Energizer itself has a $5 promotion on $20 purchase.
