We tried one of these out a few months ago. It works fine and makes a tasty treat. But, for the amount you get per serving and the money you'll spend on ingredients you'll be spending a LOT more than you can buy quality ice cream for. It is also loud as hell. We didn't find the "health" benefits (if large amounts of sugar and cream are healthy, lol) of making your own to be worth the additional costs. We returned ours.

Thanks. Was on the fence, but I'm passing now.

We also returned this without even using it because we were idiots and didn't research what it actually is. You need to prepare and freeze the mixtures ahead of time overnight and then this turns those mixtures into ice cream the following day. You can't just make ice cream on a whim with this which is what we were hoping. Again, our fault for not researching, but a heads up for anyone else thinking they can get this and make ice cream anytime they want. You really can't.

The reason i want this is because my son has an allergy to milk and that cut's his choices down to almost nothing. sometimes spending a bit more to give someone something they can't have normally is a blessing in disguise(also homemade ice cream is soooooo much better than that preservative filled garbage at the store)

For the everyday person I think this isn't worth it since an actual ice cream maker is cheaper and faster.

For people tracking macros and on a calorie deficit I think this is a no Brainer. Easy meal prep with your favorite protein powder of choice plus other add ins like frozen fruit or what have you. You'll have containers of tracked ice-cream low-cal

THIS WILL save you money since low cal ice creams cost alot in the long run like Enlighten, halontop, nicks etc

Just my 2 cents

Was showing at $149.99. Would purchase at this price but it no longer seems to be the correct price.

Just got mine yesterday, had only 4 bananas in the house, chopped them up as instructed, put them in the pint container and froze them. Today, I had sorbet with the texture of gelato. Pretty damn great. I was at first put off by the bananas still around the edge, but they are wafer thin and tasty. The "gelato" was perfect. Can't believe it was just 4 bananas and nothing else.
