They have a good FAQ on the web site. https://www.usmobile.com/get-started

"Line transfers on eSIM must be initiated between 11/25/2022 at 12:01 AM EST to 12/02/2022 at 11:59 PM EST. Line transfers using a physical SIM must be initiated before 12/16/22 at 11:59 PM EST with SIMs from Starter Kits purchased between 11/25/22 at 12:01 AM EST and 12/2/22 at 11:59 PM EST on usmobile.com or the US Mobile iOS or Android apps."

BTW - Not all phones are compatible. I checked with the agent. Samsung A32 and Moto G stylus 2022 5G are not compatible. iPhone SE 2020 is compatible.
IMIE checker is here but didn't work for my IMIE - https://www.usmobile.com/networks

edit: added IMIE checker.
So you have to buy a sim card kit? How is that free?

My guess is it's similar to Visible's IMEI checker where there are more determined as "incompatible" than not. But, using those "incompatible" phones ended up with Visible service working just fine once the Visible SIM card has been inserted.

They mail you both, only the Verizon one will be free.
This is good to know as I did not find mention of "Verizon" on https://www.usmobile.com/get-started. I'm curious to know where that's stated? Is it because the term "Warp 5G" only implies "Verizon" network?

Any reviews of US mobile? Looking to leave Red Pocket with 6 lines. Anyone know what the add on fees per month are for the basic unlimited family plan?
Why you are leaving red pocket?

Depends on if you want to pay for it or not and if you have eSIM. USMobile gives a free international eSIM per month on their premium unlimited plans, which this is not. So no freebie. But you can buy an international eSIM [usmobile.com] for Mexico. I don't have US Mobile service, but I do have an account with them, so I looked up the pricing for Mexico eSIMs. It is horrid:

1GB: $16
3GB: $41
5GB: $58

Looks like the going rate for Mexico eSIMs is closer to $5/GB [esimdb.com] if you just need data.
Didn't know there was a db for that, sweet

It used to be they were the cheapest by far, so I put up with the occasional problems. There have been times when the data shuts off for no reason. And occasionally texts don't go through. And there data seems very very slow. Any time there has been an issue I've chatted with them and was able to get the issue resolved, but it's been kind of a hassle.
So, if I can find something similar for less or the same cost with fewer issues and good customer service, I'm all in.

First trial kit is free. If you want more than one then you need to pay $3.99.

I wanted 2. Although rep on the chat said just create another account with a different email, that did not work. Looks like physical address should be different.

Yes, indeed! I just used it on a trip to Europe and was very happy with one of the services I found from esimdb (it was redteago if anyone cares, like $18 for 5GB, I think?, that worked all over Europe).

Soooo much easier than in the old days when you had to do a physical SIM swap.

I just moved a line from Visible (eSIM) to US Mobile (eSIM). The service is very good and overall I am happy. The Pooled plans are an especially good deal for a few low-data users.

Please be aware of two things:

1. My Visible (or any Verizon MVNO) eSIM to USMobile eSIM port got stuck and required escalation to support, during which I was without my number for >24 hours. There are tons of complaints about this on Reddit, so it seems like a well-known Verizon backend issue. If you are coming from a Verizon MVNO eSIM, please consider choosing a physical SIM rather than eSIM for a smoother porting experience, or be prepared to wait potentially multiple days.

2. Premium data only applies to 5G devices, even if the device is on 4G LTE. If you have a 4G device, the device will not get premium data, and data may be heavily deprioritized at times (like on any Verizon MVNO).

Can you choose to be on either Verizon or T-Mobile network for this plan or is this Verizon only? I have a Pixel 7 (without mmWave) so want to understand if I'll get any 5G data at all.

So what happens after 100 days? I guess the $15 plan will be auto renewed? How much is the final cost per month?

I'm in my second month using US Mobile after porting in from Total By Verizon (Total Wireless). So far I'm extremely happy with the service. We have three lines on a pooled plan. I chose 13 GB per month so the total is $54.44/month. Due to traveling this week for Thanksgiving, we'll need more data. It's easy to add more data using their a app for $2 per GB.

In addition to the cost savings, I've been really happy with their support. Had a free small issues porting in one of my lines, and their chat support via the app was extremely helpful. Also, their support agents are very active on the official US Mobile subreddit. They have been quick to answer some basic questions there.

So far so good, and I've recommended US Mobile to friends and family. Yet they all seem to prefer to pay Verizon a lot more money for the same service.
