Ceramic was very nice at the start then all of sudden become super sticky.

I really like my set and ceramic is not toxic.
Reading that link above seems to confirm that it really isn't as nonstick as when we first bought it. For the price though I think we got our money's worth.

In all seriousness, this is a relatively inexpensive, cheaply made set. As others noted it might be fine for a year, but if you want something "good" I'd look elsewhere.
