Got a refurbished model with 30 hours on it for 830 a few weeks ago. New one has been going for 1250 forever, so I don't think 1200 is that crazy of a price.
Like it so far, only thing I would recommend if you get it would be to run it on "normal" mode for several hours to reduce the "projector lamp arc wander" which is basically when the bulb flashes randomly. I was running it on eco originally and it started to get very annoying.
Two minor issues I have been having are with the remote that comes with this model - specific buttons stop working sometimes and require a slap in the back to get it working again.
Also, I ended up connecting it to my PC...the HDMI has been inconsistent when changing source and sometimes requires replugging the HDMI cord to get it working again (this might not be a projector issue).
Have the short throw version of this, works great with my 120inch screen

I actually bought the benq tk700sti (short throw) version from eBay seller buydig for around 1k...they ended up sending me this version instead accidentally...so I negotiated it down to 800 and I kept it.

I don't think they are selling this anymore.
