an 8TB gaming performance hd? Inland's marketing team needs to work on their advertising... cant say I ever met or knew a gamer who needs 8TB to game lol. Unless they are playing game rips from the beginning of time until now. I would probably market this under extended storage/RAID/server/File server/homelab/ anything else but gaming, but to each their own https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...ilies/wink.gif
You haven't played many survival games it would seem. ARK with it's DLC's is over 200gb

Also with new UE5 games coming up this next year 8k textures etc...will be a thing and the new norm for games will probably be over 100GB so honestly 8TB seems small now given the amount of games I personally have or my friends do in their steam libraries.

Also you forget we are now living in the world of the $1700 dollar video card. Man I miss the days when $299 for a graphics card was mainstream.

I would love an 8TB NVME boot drive, but NOT at this price. 🥶

Considering a 4TB costs $300-400, 8TB drives are still way too expensive per TB. Might be halfway reasonable if it were a few hundred less though.

I can hobble a pcie version for about $650 using enterprise drives. Also wouldn't require pcie bifurcation. Would have some speed limits at maybe x8.
So, unless you need that m.2 version, Google around
