This headphones are legend in the community, especially at this price point. Not my sound signature (I prefer REALLY bassy headphones) especially for the genres I listen to, but TU and repped anyway.

I'm showing $179 without signing up for the emails. Maybe you mean ANOTHER $10.

I tried that, but somehow the 10$ discount never showed up in the cart.
The OP noted that it was $189 yesterday and $179 today. And you can get another $10 off if you sign up for their e-mails (look for the popup). You'll get a promo code that you can apply to your order.
I think the original price for these headphones was $179 or $200 when they first released a few years back
It was almost 6 years ago and the original drop was $200 (which included a discount for the first drop). If you can get these for $179 now then they've lowered the price over time (particularly when you consider inflation).
This is now considered a great "mid-tier" headphone, but for a long time this was essentially an end game headphone for many people with a proper amp.
I love my Ivory 598's, but these 6xx are much better, more detail. just an opinion..
Thanks. I'll take much better and more detail. Dang, I'm not sure if I have space for another big headphone in my collection. This being the endgame headphone for some means I should add it.
I've been into chi-fi IEMs recently (added salnotes zero, dioko, and truthear zero) and was considering a new headphone to watch 4k uhd without bothering neighbors.
These should be good and my HK receiver should be able to drive them without issue.
