I ordered my wife the Moab 2 Speed the other day when they were on sale for $70.99, and I only used a 20% off code. Today they are $57.99, but I was using the $20/75 Amex Offer, so basically even with taking the sale and better coupon into account, I would end up paying the same $59.xx as I am now. Of course, I could find something else to add to the cart to get back over $75 and get an extra ~$25 worth of stuff, but I didn't see another paid that I wanted for myself.
Also, the WINTER25 code seems to work only on shoes. The TX7SMS20 code that I used works on your entire order.
Update -- found a pair to order for myself (the Oakcreek), combined with my wife's sneakers it came out to $80 after tax. I did a chat on the website, and they are waiving the usual $5 return fee because I had placed a second order. I had another AMEX card to use with the $20/75 offer.
Grabbed a pair of Moab Speed for casual wear or work when the weather is okay. Too good to pass up.Just got a pair of Moab 2 waterproof boots as my first Merrells, and found they run a little snug - seem a little short on one foot and a little tight in the toes on the other. Still kept them and I think they'll be okay, but definitely a less generous fit than Keens. Went up a half size this time.
Did AMEX notified your that you used the $20/75 offer as soon as the charge showed up pending on your account? I use the same offer and usually AMEX instantly notifies me that "I used me amex offer" but not this time. Still shows active/added to card.
When I did my original order the other day, it took a day and a half to get the Amex email. Today's order took 10 minutes.

$5 return shipping? Huh, that's bad. I will have to pass it

I used an AMEX offer on Asics last week, I didn't get the email right away as I AMEX usually does so I was worried too, but it showed up about 3-4 days later on my AMEX account. Hope that helps.

No longer European owned/manufactured... China... And the quality reflects that.
Merrel's have never been made in China. Wolverine bought Merrel in 1997 and said shoes are made in the U.S. and other Asia countries. I've worn them for 20 years or so and the quality is as good as ever. Furthermore, China makes extremely high quality products. Where do you think the goods the Chinese people buy are made? lol.

Good Luck on the sizing, they are not true to prior lengths. Bought a couple and upon buying the third it was tight. Sent a note to Merrill and was told it wasn't an issue prior. Lost $70....Never Again.

I used to wear Merrells constantly, but the quality definitely has declined in the last 6-8 years. They dropped/changed some of their shoe styles, and the newer ones are heavier, hotter, and less durable. The included insoles are an absolute joke. And Wolverine's customer service is horrible.
For these prices, comparable to Columbia, they're worth it, I suppose, but for prices closer to the MSRP, there are much better alternatives like Keen. There's a good sale at Keen right now, incidentally.

Merrells are mine and my wife's go-to. No change in quality at all in the last 20 years. Maybe you're buying counterfeits.

One pair ordered. I hear they are not as good as they used to be, but for $40 will take a chance.
