I have a question……I do have an old 1st gen Xbox one…..but I don't intend on using it.

Can this deal be used for Xbox mobile gaming on android or iOS?

Also, could I purchase the 1st year set of codes, set this up, and then buy a 2nd year and a 3rd year once I've confirmed I have done this right? Any help would be appreciated, I'm a total newbie who only knows Nintendo switch lol.

Yes to your first question. Microsoft is promoting gaming anywhere. So you can use your ultimate subscription on a pc or android device. Game selection is a little more limited than an xbox, but works fine.

NO to you second question. If you upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate your subsequent codes would not work correctly. They must all be redeemed before upgrading. Now, you could purchase a gold code, add it to your account and verify that worked before buying more. But you cannot setup the ultimate portion until all codes have been activated.

The only bummer is that it only works for "new" accounts. Would like for this to work for my son's account which is currently active with game pass.
It does work, you just need to let gamepass lapse and then pay the 1-month $14.95 fee after loading up on live to convert to ultimate again.

I did this in Sept. with perfect results.

Been trying to understand this but didn't find the answer. If my gamepass ultimate doesn't expire until a few months from now, can I still do this or should I wait until it expires?

This is for the 12 MONTH XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP (CANADA) and not 1-Year Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Just know that there is a difference.

Does using paypal instead of a credit card offer additional protection in case it doesn't work? What is the benefit? If it's just about getting your card number stolen then i can just use a digital card for that.

FYI in chrome you cannot use the extension in incognito mode it looks seems, but I did without using incognito and it worked fine. I also didnt close browser after turning off vpn, I just reloaded the tab back in USA.

The $1 joining GPU will give one month (new member), if I purchase three 12-month live gold (turkey), combining will get to 37-month, will that be a problem as OP also mentioned the max is 36-month of service.

I too have the same issue, please someone help to get this resolved, tried changing the location to US but still same error.
